Two people died and two others were injured after a truck and car collided at the intersection of Oswald Pirow Street and the turn-off from the N1, in the Cape Town CBD.
The truck collided into the left side of the car, which resulted in the death of the left front and rear passengers. The two other occupants of the car sustained moderate injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
The reason for the collision is unknown at this stage but the incident is being investigated by the police.
