Family Of Bikers Collide

A father and his twenty two year old daughter on one bike, and his wife on another, were returning from the Harley Davidson Rally in Margate on the weekend. They were travelling on the N3 in Lion's River toward their home in Tabazimbi when roadworks on the highway caused them to collide with each other.

It is believed that the road narrowed suddenly and the other vehicles on the road failed to make way for them to join the traffic when the incident occurred. Both the mother and daughter sustained multiple deep scrapes and bruises, and were complaining of neck pain. The father sustained minor injuries only.

All three patients were transported to a nearby hospital by ER24 paramedics for further assessment and treatment. Both of their motorcycles were severely damage and had to be towed away.
