ER24 Paramedics |
High Angle Rescue |
"A part of being an emergency worker involves going above and beyond our normal scope of daily ambulance duties, being put into areas outside of our normal expertise and working in extremely dangerous and hazardous environments, in line with the companies 2010 FIFA preparations and long term staff development our Kimberly branch successfully attended a High Angel one course this week which will prove to be invaluable for the operational staff of the area. They are routinely called out to assist the SAPS SAR (Search and Rescue Unit) on rescues in the large holes and a working knowledge of ropes and rope rescue is essential. Yet again proving that ER24 is driven towards community development and staff up-liftment.’ A big thank you to DART’s Hugh Price Hughes and Collin van Niekerk for their expert assistance and guidance, these skills will without question save a life” ER24 Training Academy.
