ER24 paramedics were called to a picnic site by the lookout point on the R44 towards Gordans Bay for a new born baby that had been found by local fisherman this afternoon.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and were taken by the fisherman to where they had found the baby. The new born baby girl was found wrapped in a bathroom towel, under some bushes. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for this baby as it had died a few hours earlier.
The necessary authorities were called to the scene to investigate the death of this new born further.
