Car Crashes Into Accident Scene

Paramedics were called out to a t-bone collision on the corners of Old Main Road and Stapelton Road in Pinetown. The accident scene appeared to be quite a serious one, with a passenger entrapped in the vehicle that was t-boned.

ER24 paramedics assessed the scene, and determined that all patients were stable, and had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The man that was still in the vehicle was waiting for assistance to get out.

As the services were performing their various duties, they heard a screetching of tires. When they looked up they saw a vehicle coming straight for the scene. The vehicle then crashed into the stationery Provincial Ambulance Service's ambulance before speeding off. Fortunately there were no occupants or patients in the ambulance at the time.

The local police department immediately started pursuit of the vehicle, and at this point it is undetermined whether the guilty party was found.

All patients from the original scene were mobilised to various hospitals.
