A Thirty Three year old female was killed after been knocked down by a scooter at the corners of Blouberg and Gie road in Tableview this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the pedestrian lying on the side of the road and unresponsive. The patient had sustained possible head injuries and was declared deceased on the scene. The driver of the scooter sustained no injuries.
The death around the patient is rather sketchy but is believed that the scooter hit the patient, causing the man to fall back wards and hit his head on the pavement.

Shame this was a terrible accident to see, she was even carrying oranges/naartjies, so probably had a family at home waiting for her. Shows us how precious human life is and how quickly it can be taken away! Cherish those in our lives today! And dont wait until tomorrow to tell them you love them!
