ER24 received a call this evening about a house on fire in Raats Drive which is in Tableview. Paramedics took this as any other kind of emergency and responded to the location not knowing if anybody was inside the house or not.
Once paramedics arrived on the scene, they found that the garage was on fire and that could see a light motor vehicle inside totally in gulfed in flames. A local security company had saved some animals from the residence in case the flames moved to the house. Milnerton Fire were on the scene within seconds and were extinguishing the fire when the family of the residence arrived home.
It is unclear what caused the fire but it is believed that the fire may have started in the garage but the necessary authorities were on the scene and would be investigating the incident.
