consciousness on the N1 highway near Cambridge road.
Shortly after 08:30 paramedics attended the scene where they found a blue Nissan 350Z lying between the N1 highway and Witkoppen Drive in a ditch.
It is understood that the man was travelling on the N1 towards Rivonia when the incident occurred. Paramedics found the man standing next to his car in shock. He was treated on the scene and transported per ambulance to a nearby hospital for further medical management.
The Johannesburg Metro Police also attended the incident. Traffic was slow on both Witkoppen and the N1 due to spectator value.
