A driver has sustained minor to moderat injuries this afternoon after the truck he was using at the time over turned. ER24 and other emergency services arrived on the scene, to find a truck that was carrying sand had over turned and landed on its side, still with the bin open.The driver who was found outside the truck, was treated for his injuries and transported to a near by hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the driver had parked on a slope and was off loading the sand, when a guss of wind may have toppled the truck over. With the truck over turning, it damaged a wall and a water pipe.
The necessary authorities were called in to assist in the recovery of the truck.
