A car chase between police and an alleged suspect ended in a collision at the intersection of Polka Drive and Strand Road in Kuilsriver.
It is alleged that the police were giving chase to a VW Citi Golf when the suspect rode the vehicle into the back of another car.
The thirty eight year old male suspect sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance, under police guard, to Tygerberg Hospital. No injuries were reported from the other vehicle involved in the collision.
