A man to be in his mid twenties is in a serious condition after crashing his motor bike into the side of a truck at the intersection of Hendrick Van Eck and Andries Potgieter Boulevard in Vanderbiljpark this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the man lying in the road near the truck. The man sustained serious head injury and a possible broken leg. Advanced Life Support intervention was performed on the patient while paramedics waited for the ER24 Discovery Medicopter to arrive. Once stabilised further he was transported by air to Milpark Hospital in a serious condition where trauma staff were waiting to take over treatment.
It is believed that motor cyclist was coming down the road when the tuck had come out the side road, causing the motor cyclist to crash into the side of the truck. The necessary authorities
