Competency Profile (Education, experience, skills & behaviour):
• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• Tertiary qualification : Bookkeeping Diploma
• 1 year experience as a bookkeeper and/or 3 years experience in Fixed Assets Management
• 1 year experience in Asset controls
• Willingness to travel on a national basis
Key Deliverables:
• Compile, maintain and update fixed asset registers
• Classify assets accordingly to company criteria and policies
• To accurately account for assets utilized within the company
• Generate monthly and quarterly asset reports
• Liaise with insurance company in terms of claims and status reporting of claims
• To comply with insurance requirements
• Annual asset verification process
