Cape Town - Baden Powell Drive on 24 July 2009 at 09h00

A head-on collision between two trucks near the Baden Powell bridge over the N2 has left four people injured this morning.

Two of the injured sustained moderate injuries and the other two injured sustained minor injuries. The patients were taken by ER24 and Metro EMS ambulances to Vergelegen Medi-Clinic for further treatment.

After the trucks collided, the vehicles left the road and went down an embankment, causing one of them to overturn. It is unclear what caused the trucks to hit head-on.
