Two people died and eighteen others were taken to hospital when a bus and a VW Jetta collided on the West Coast Road (R27) in Melkbos.
The two occupants of the Jetta were dead on arrival of emergency services and needed to be cut from the mangled car. Eighteen people from the bus were taken to various hospitals for further treatment. One patient sustained serious injuries and the other seventeen patients sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The remaining occupants of the bus were transported from the scene in another bus.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services worked on the scene. Police are investigating the collision.
What would have happen to poeple that usualy stands in the busses.Atlantis' poeple must stand in the busses from CT straight through Atlantis.
ReplyDeleteApparently there was only 1 standing at the time of the accident. He was the person on the bus injured the most seriously.
